„Am fost cazat sau am vizitat camere din hoteluri de lux din Europa si America dar nu ma asteptam sa vad cea mai frumoasa camera si baie in care am stat vreodata chiar in Romania si tocmai la o pensiune de familie din Suceava “Villa Alice”. Am vazut in Europa (de vest) si camere de 5 stele cu televizor cu Tub!(in vara lui 2012) fara internet sau daca avea, semnalul era foarte slab si contracost “cu ora”sau chiar cu minutul, cu bai fara hidromasaj sau Jacuzzi, fara computer in camera, etc. , iar peste ocean si fara dus flexibil, fara bideu, cu geamurile blocate, etc. Ei bine camerele si baile de 5 stele ale aceste pensiuni romanesti din Suceava le depaseste net pe multe din cele europene sau americane! De exemplu televizorul din camera in care am stat in Villa Alice din Suceava, Romania este o plasma uriasa de peste 1,5 metri la care se pot vedea zeci de programe internationale sau romanesti digital si hd, apoi dvd blue-ray, computer performant in camera, webcam pentru videoconferinte. Baia, de marimea unei camere de hotel este elegant decorata, are lustra din aceeasi familie cu cea din camera, tablouri, cada (pentru doua persoane) cu hidromasaj si Jacuzzi dar si cabina cu hidromasaj si sauna! In concluzie ai un mic cinematograf in propria camera si un Spa in propria baie. Mobilierul este de asemenea cel mai frumos pe care l-am vazut in vreun hotel, desi luxos nu este opulent si ostentativ ci este rodul unor gusturi rafinate. Ideea unui cabinet medical in pensiune cu medic “non stop” este “cireasa de pe tort”. Toate acestea in Occident (daca le-ai gasi) ai plati pentru ele cel putin 400 de euro sau 500 de dolari pe noapte. Desi sunt roman nu voi gandi in spiritul vechiului dicton “sa moara capra vecinului” ci ma voi bucura pentru aceasta pensiune care “bate” orice camere si bai similare din Occident si ma face, chiar si doar pentru atat sa fiu mandru ca sunt roman. "Am gasit Villa Alice, din pura intamplare, la 10 seara dupa o vizita pe la manastiri... si MARE ne-a fost surpriza!!! Un receptioner simpatic ne-a aratat camerele inainte sa ne spuna preturile...

Am luat doua camere la 4 si 5 stele si intr-adevar sunt mult peste ceea ce se vinde in Romania si in Occident la aceste categorii si mai ales la aceste preturi!
Foarte amabili atat la receptie cat si la micul dejun, foarte placut si familiar!
Deja l-am recomandat prietenilor mei care merg in Bucovina in acest sezon.

EXCEPTIONAL decorata, amenajata, locatie centrala, atat doar daca vreti sa puneti niste perdele mai groase(intunecate) pt vampirii din Transilvania, ca lumina dimineata... in rest INCREDIBIL DE FRUMOS, CU FOARTE MULT BUN GUST!!!!"

“Elegance in Essene white. Bucovina, the Northern part of the former Principality of Moldova, was once part of the Austrian Empire, which is visible in the exterior architecture of Villa Alice, with wooden balconies and charming flower pots, as I saw in the Salzkammergut region, near Salzburg, where I spent a few days. Location is very central, very quiet and surrounded by fir trees. Staff is very welcoming , thoughtful and helpful. But the trump card are the rooms : a symphony in white, in Essene white (supreme Masonic color),in stylish and elegant furniture, bedding, walls, bathroom. Everything is new and very clean. Beds are very comfortable, pillows are soft and duvets are warm , so that sleep is deep and recovery is guaranteed.
Staying in Villa Alice is like living in a dream : beauty, style, elegance, comfort and cleanliness.
And all at affordable prices.

“Surprising Luxury in Suceava, Romania
We happened across this hotel and it was a treat! After three overnight trains in a row, a little R&R was just what we needed. This hotel has recently finished its renovation and people will soon be flocking to it. There are several different price ranges for rooms to appeal to any budget, but all rooms are clean, nicely furnished and have great running water and electricity. Nice extra touches made our room extra special - plush bathrobes and slippers in the closet, a variety of television channels, free wifi, and our room (not all rooms have this) had a big screen tv and a two person jacuzzi tub. You don't need to splurge to stay here, though - rooms for different budgets were available. It was in a great location, near the city centre and within walking distance of some nice restaurants, the local monastery and ruins. The best part is the service - the staff are eager to help and were amazing to us. The hotel owner, a lovely man who has also written an excellent book on the Romanian experience, took us on a tour of the painted monasteries. “Probably the best in Romania. I was there for 2 nights, the rooms are just amazing!!! Cant get better!! The tv is huuuugeee!!! Best part!!! And the bed is better than home!! Is soooo biiig and so confortable you cant imagine!!! They have everything in the room: tv, computer+webcam, mirros, biig hot tube and bit shower with radio!! The place is amazing!! I would definitely go only there from now on!!! Service is good, people are nice! Again, the rooom will blow your mind away!! Just go and have a look if you dont believe! Had a great stay!!!

Sublime! What a gem! This is by far one of the nicest hotels I've been in Romania, considering that it is still reasonably priced...Even before arriving in Romania I made a little mistake in my booking and they were so helpful and understanding and took care of the problem. The hotel is a bit hard to find because it's situated on a very tiny and narrow street (just up the hill from the Continental Suceava hotel). It has on-site parking... which is important when you're in any city center in Romania. The front desk clerks were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were immaculately clean and comfortable. "Locația în centrul Sucevei cu loc de parcare privat. Deși este în centrul orașului, este o oază de liniște și frumusețe aparte. Camerele sunt mobilate și decorate în stil monarhic francez, sec.XVlll. Sunt foarte curate cu tot ce trebuie pentru igiena personală (inclusiv periuță dinți, halat, papuci de unică folosință).
