“The most beautiful rooms and bathrooms! I stayed in (or visited) rooms from luxury hotels in Europa and America but I did not expect to see the most beautiful rooms and bathrooms in which I ever stayed in Romania and even at a family guest house in Suceava “Villa Alice”. I have seen in (western) Europe some five star rooms which had tube TV`s (in the summer of 2012!), no internet or if any, the signal was weak and at an hourly or even by minute charge, with bathrooms without hydromassage or jacuzzi, no computer in the room,etc. And across the ocean in the larger cities the didn`t have flexible showers, no bidets, windows which can`t be opened, etc.
Well the 5star rooms and bathrooms of this Romanian guest house from Suceava greatly surpass many of the European and American once. For instance, the room in which I stayed in “Villa Alice” from Suceava, Romania “is a huge plasma flat screen of over 1,5 metres on whith you can see dozens of digital and HD international or Romanian channels, a Blue-ray DVD player, a fast computer with a webcam for videoconferences are also present. The bathroom witch is the size of a hotel room in elegantly decorated, has a chandelier like the one in the room, a hydromassage and on top an extra sauna shower cabin, also with hydromassage. Resuming, you get your small movie theather in room and a Spa in your bathroom. The furnishings are olso the most beautiful I`ve seen in any hotel, luxurious but not opulent and ostentations being the fruits of a rafinated taste. The idea of the medical office in the guest house, with a doctor available all the time, is the icing on the cake.
If you would ever find all these in the west you would pay at least 400 euro or 500 us dollars per room/night. Here I only paid approximately 55 euro per night. Allthough I am Romanian, I will not give into the spirit of the old saying “I hope the neighbour`s goat dies” but instedd I am happy for this guesthouse which wins over any similar western rooms and bathrooms and makes me, even if only for this feel proud that I am Romanian. “Elegance in Essene white. Bucovina, the Northern part of the former Principality of Moldova, was once part of the Austrian Empire, which is visible in the exterior architecture of Villa Alice, with wooden balconies and charming flower pots, as I saw in the Salzkammergut region, near Salzburg, where I spent a few days. Location is very central, very quiet and surrounded by fir trees. Staff is very welcoming , thoughtful and helpful. But the trump card are the rooms : a symphony in white, in Essene white (supreme Masonic color),in stylish and elegant furniture, bedding, walls, bathroom. Everything is new and very clean. Beds are very comfortable, pillows are soft and duvets are warm , so that sleep is deep and recovery is guaranteed.
Staying in Villa Alice is like living in a dream : beauty, style, elegance, comfort and cleanliness.
And all at affordable prices.

“Phenomenal stay!!”. We just spent 3 nights in Suceava at Villa Alice. The location was great, but the quality of the accommodation was even better! They've just finished a full renovation one month ago, and I think we were the first people to stay in one of their rooms. Honestly! I can't remember the last time we experienced this kind of quality for the price. It was better quality than any of the other places we stayed during our time in Romania. And the staff were incredibly helpful, too. We arranged transport to the painted monasteries, and our driver turned out to be the owner himself! It was a great day of sightseeing around the area. Breakfast was great and the quantity was more than my wife could eat. We had a great time while in Suceava, and our stay at Villa Alice was wonderful. “Surprising Luxury in Suceava, Romania
We happened across this hotel and it was a treat! After three overnight trains in a row, a little R&R was just what we needed. This hotel has recently finished its renovation and people will soon be flocking to it. There are several different price ranges for rooms to appeal to any budget, but all rooms are clean, nicely furnished and have great running water and electricity. Nice extra touches made our room extra special - plush bathrobes and slippers in the closet, a variety of television channels, free wifi, and our room (not all rooms have this) had a big screen tv and a two person jacuzzi tub. You don't need to splurge to stay here, though - rooms for different budgets were available. It was in a great location, near the city centre and within walking distance of some nice restaurants, the local monastery and ruins. The best part is the service - the staff are eager to help and were amazing to us. The hotel owner, a lovely man who has also written an excellent book on the Romanian experience, took us on a tour of the painted monasteries. I was there for 2 nights, the rooms are just amazing!!! Cant get better!! The tv is huuuugeee!!! Best part!!! And the bed is better than home!! Is soooo biiig and so confortable you cant imagine!!! They have everything in the room: tv, computer+webcam, mirros, biig hot tube and bit shower with radio!! The place is amazing!! I would definitely go only there from now on!!! Service is good, people are nice! Again, the rooom will blow your mind away!! Just go and have a look if you dont believe! Had a great stay!!!

Sublime! What a gem!
This is by far one of the nicest hotels I've been in Romania, considering that it is still reasonably priced...Even before arriving in Romania I made a little mistake in my booking and they were so helpful and understanding and took care of the problem. The hotel is a bit hard to find because it's situated on a very tiny and narrow street (just up the hill from the Continental Suceava hotel). It has on-site parking... which is important when you're in any city center in Romania. The front desk clerks were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were immaculately clean and comfortable. The location is central and the price is perfect! Even if I wanted to be picky...I can't find anything wrong with this hotel. (Review from www.tripadvisor.com)
