“Surprising Luxury in Suceava, Romania
We happened across this hotel and it was a treat! After three overnight trains in a row, a little R&R was just what we needed. This hotel has recently finished its renovation and people will soon be flocking to it. There are several different price ranges for rooms to appeal to any budget, but all rooms are clean, nicely furnished and have great running water and electricity. Nice extra touches made our room extra special - plush bathrobes and slippers in the closet, a variety of television channels, free wifi, and our room (not all rooms have this) had a big screen tv and a two person jacuzzi tub. You don't need to splurge to stay here, though - rooms for different budgets were available. It was in a great location, near the city centre and within walking distance of some nice restaurants, the local monastery and ruins. The best part is the service - the staff are eager to help and were amazing to us. The hotel owner, a lovely man who has also written an excellent book on the Romanian experience, took us on a tour of the painted monasteries. He was an excellent guide and we learned so much from spending time with him. He was a perfect host and helped to make our time in Romania a perfect adventure." (Impresie de pe www.tripadvisor.com)

"Am gasit Villa Alice, din pura intamplare, la 10 seara dupa o vizita pe la manastiri... si MARE ne-a fost surpriza!!! Un receptioner simpatic ne-a aratat camerele inainte sa ne spuna preturile...

Am luat doua camere la 4 si 5 stele si intr-adevar sunt mult peste ceea ce se vinde in Romania si in Occident la aceste categorii si mai ales la aceste preturi!
Foarte amabili atat la receptie cat si la micul dejun, foarte placut si familiar!
Deja l-am recomandat prietenilor mei care merg in Bucovina in acest sezon.

EXCEPTIONAL decorata, amenajata, locatie centrala, atat doar daca vreti sa puneti niste perdele mai groase(intunecate) pt vampirii din Transilvania, ca lumina dimineata... in rest INCREDIBIL DE FRUMOS, CU FOARTE MULT BUN GUST!!!!"

“Phenomenal stay!!”. We just spent 3 nights in Suceava at Villa Alice. The location was great, but the quality of the accommodation was even better! They've just finished a full renovation one month ago, and I think we were the first people to stay in one of their rooms. Honestly! I can't remember the last time we experienced this kind of quality for the price. It was better quality than any of the other places we stayed during our time in Romania. And the staff were incredibly helpful, too. We arranged transport to the painted monasteries, and our driver turned out to be the owner himself! It was a great day of sightseeing around the area. Breakfast was great and the quantity was more than my wife could eat. We had a great time while in Suceava, and our stay at Villa Alice was wonderful.
